At Fairfax Eye Associates, treatment is administered by a physician with deep knowledge of the delicate muscles and structures that affect facial expression, eyelid function, and eye comfort.
BOTOX® at Fairfax Eye Associates is used for both cosmetic and therapeutic purposes. Cosmetically, it can soften crow’s feet, forehead lines, and other facial wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement. Therapeutically, it may be used to treat blepharospasm, a condition that causes involuntary closure of the eyelids.

The Treatment
BOTOX injections are administered directly into the affected muscle with no anesthesia required. You may receive anywhere from one to ten injections in a single session.
Results
Results are typically most effective in the first two to six weeks following treatment and last up to four months. Results can be maintained with routine follow-up injections.
